In 1974, AVIS TURKEY was first launched by Otokoc Otomotiv Tic. ve San. A.S. as a daughter company of Koc Holding which has been in Fortune Global 500 list for many years and the biggest holding in Turkey. Avis Turkey is leading the sector in terms of sales, fleet, office and customer satisfaction for long years as being responsible for the first and pioneer of the sector.

Today, Otokoc represents Avis and Budget brands in 6 different countries (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Georgia and Iraq), with a fleet size of 40.000 vehicles with more than 80 offices and 300 employees.
On the 15th of April 1997, AVIS was introduced to Azerbaijan by Otokoc under the name of Otokoc Azerbaijan LLC and has brought AVIS experience and excellence with Koc Holding’s corporate govarnance principles together into the region.

Today, Avis Azerbaijanis running in Baku and the region with a fleet size of 1000 vehicles as a market leader in long term and short term rental operations.
